Forestry England membership pack design

Graphic design / Branding / Product development

Forestry England care for more land and trees than any other organisation in England. With over 1,800 miles of walking, running and cycling trails, supplying England’s largest amount of sustainably-sourced timber, and conserving the homes of thousands of plants and animals.

The membership offer is available at loads of forests and woodlands around the country, and gives members access to an array of local benefits and discounts, as well as supporting their local forest.

The aim of this project was to update the tired membership materials and bring them in-line with the new brand, improve the pack offering, and increase awareness.

Customisation

The welcome pack was designed to be simple, recognisable, and conjure thoughts of the forest and adventure by using a mix of illustrations and photographic elements. I used bold colours and typography for the card so that it is bright and stands out, linking directly to the Forestry England brand.

Welcome letters have a lot of offers and benefits to show that are unique to each location, as well as other information, so I created a template to keep all of it organised and digestible. A stripped back colour palette and minimal design help along with use of white space to create a clear hierarchy and separate out different content.
